Hospital Lockdown lifted 12:41AM on 6/21/2024

At 12:41AM on 6/21/2023, hospital CEO Brian Whitfield announced an “all clear” and the lockdown was lifted.

The hospital was placed on lockdown after two stab wound patients were brought to MMH. One of the patients suffered serious injuries and was flown to another hospital while the other was being treated at MMH and is expected to be released.

The hospital has seen three gunshot wound patients and two stab wound patients in less than 24 hours.
