Hospital Lockdown: 6/20/2024 at 9:49PM

McCurtain Memorial Hospital has been placed on lockdown as of 21:49PM at the direction of Chief Nursing Officer, Dustin Leonard.

Leonard said that in the last 24 hours, three gunshot wound patients and two stab wound patients have presented to the hospital. In an abundance of caution, in accordance with the hospitals safety plan, the hospital is on lockdown to ensure the safety of our staff, patients, visitors, and property.

The hospitals armed security team and local law enforcement is on site. We will update when the lockdown is lifted.
