Campbell, Straley and LaRue elected to MMH Board of Trustees

IDABEL, OK - The hospital's Board of Trustees met on Thursday, June 26 and among other things on their agenda, elected new officers to serve on the Board from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2027. Among those elected for officer roles were: Lindsey E. Campbell - President Attorney-at-Law

Ginny Straley - Vice President Retired

Denise LaRue - Secretary Retired

The Board of Trustees are comprised of residents within McCurtain County with diverse backgrounds. Current members of the Board include, Lindsey Campbell (President), Ginny Straley (Vice President), Denise LaRue (Secretary), Tony Hill (Member) and Johnnie Meredith (Member). The Board of Trustees have overseen the operations of McCurtain Memorial Hospital, a private, not-for-profit hospital, since its formation in the early 1970's. The corporation renewed its corporate status in 2025. Every two years, officers on the Board are either re-elected or new officers are elected to serve. Campbell, Straley and LaRue will serve their terms beginning July 1 (today). The Board meets every fourth Thursday of the month ordinarily, with the exception of July, November and December in accordance with its bylaws. Notices for all meetings are filed with the County Clerk of McCurtain County and all agendas are placed at the main entrance of the hospital prior to the meetings. All meetings are open to the public.
