What to bring with you

What to bring to the hospital:

Are you nearing the end of your pregnancy and wanting to know what to pack/bring to the hospital with you? Below is a checklist that our obstetrics department thinks are helpful items!

For you:

• Identification (Drivers license or ID)

• Insurance card

• Any paperwork from your provider

• Glasses or Contacts (case and contact solution)

• Hair tie or clip

• Robe

• Phone charger

• Comfortable pajamas (not necessary)

• Comfortable loose fitting clothes to wear home

• House shoes

For your partner:

• Change of clothes

• Pajamas

• Snacks

• Phone charger

For your baby:

• Car seat (practice taking car seat in and out of car prior to)

• Going home outfit and blanket

• If using car seat base please ensure it is properly installed

• Wet wipes

For your convenience while in the hospital MMH provides:

• Sanitary pads

• Disposable underwear

• Diapers

• Formula

• Dry wipes

• Toiletries
